The UWELL Rafale is the much-awaited sequel to the hugely successful Crown tank - and it does not disappoint! The UWELL Rafale features a 5ml liquid chamber, top filling capability, dual parallel coils that can handle input up to 120W, precision air flow control and a very effective, patented anti-spitback system against those microscopic drops of hot liquid that burn your tongue. The UWELL Rafale is made from food grade 304 stainless steel and fused quartz glass for maximum durability. Stainless steel is an alloy that incorporates nickel, manganese and chromium. What this does is make the steel much more resistant to corrosion and rust. In terms of the liquid chamber, fused quartz glass is stronger than typical Pyrex glass. In short, the UWELL Rafale is one seriously solid tank.

While the UWELL Rafale features a very convenient top fill system that lets you fill without having to separate the atomizer from the battery, you can also fill from the bottom if you wish. In terms of air flow control, the Rafale sports dual precision cut air holes that are massive: 3mm at the highest point and 15mm at the widest. With such holes, air is fed directly and very quickly into the system, the rate of delivery is absolutely incredible. Being able to adjust air flow means you can customize the vape according to your inhalation strength. You can open the valves for a more airy hit, or close them for a tighter draw. Not only that, being able to control air flow greatly helps minimize flooding and gurgling, plus it improves flavor delivery. The Rafale is designed as a parallel coil system. This allows extremely high levels of power input because the parallel structure increases the amount of wick area touching the coils. The 0.2Ω head can take an input of 120 watts. The previously mentioned anti-spitback system is mechanical. It is inserted into the chimney to trap ejuice at the base and prevent hot bits of liquid getting on your tongue. Showing the quality of design, the UWELL Rafale can be completely disassembled so it is very easy to clean and maintain as well. The drip tip is changeable too, you can use any 510 drip tip to personalize your vape.

The design and materials are indeed top class, but the UWELL Rafale wouldn't be the giant it is without a worthy supporting cast - namely, atomizer heads. Where the coils for the UWELL Crown are flat out brilliant, the coils for the Rafale are simply out of this world. The UWELL Rafale heads are made with 100% organic Japanese cotton wicks and come in two different types: SS 316 wire for vaping in wattage mode or Ni200 wire for temperature controlled vaping.
